My Z is going to be seeing a fair bit of work soon and one of the things I wanted to change are the big, ugly side indicators. I have the clear one's but still think they are horrible. I'm after a smaller, sleeker looking light.

I've found some triangle led types that I quite like but just wanted a 2nd opinion........are they pikey or Max Power-ish ??

hmm..cant decide. Remind me of new Ford style indicators, but they are more interesting that the stock shape.

I knew "Ford" would come up........and no-one hates Ford's more than me! Nasty, horrible cars. The new Focus I believe have triangle shaped side repeaters.

Hmmm, its a tricky one, I've ordered them anyway - see what they're like in the flesh.

I was looking around for a nice reapeater on a Jap motor, to keep up the theme (what are R34's like?) - but couldn't really find anything I liked.

Hey James,

I've seen a Zed with BMW E36 clear repeaters. Haven't got a pic of it but they do look a lot better than the stock clear ones.

The triangle ones are ok looking but I'd relocate them to nearer the wheelarch - somehow I think it would look better if they're closer to a rounded edge - if that makes any sense...

Cheers mate!

Danny

I have had fitted the shark grill chrome side repeaters off a BMW Mini cooper, color coded the rear back panel to match my Zed.Check out my rides pics for pic.Defo like them myself.

Well - don't like these anymore, which is a shame cos I ordered 2 types of this shape. Fooking waste of nearly £50.

I'm onto these now, alot nicer.

i like either. last one most. got a contact?

James do you know if will these fit in the standard holes without modification? What make and model are they listed under?

These are way better than the Focus reps IMO - those triangle jobbies probably wouldn't suit the lines of the ZX.

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Im having the same problem at the moment with my Border wings.

Ive decided to fill and drill the exsiting holes (well marks realy) and use Audi A4 repeaters which are clear small square things. ;)

No, they won't. Will require some filling of the existing hole for sure. They are BMW E48's IIRC.

The website address is on the pic there, any probs give me a shout. If you fancy the triangle one's, I have them of course, £15 delvd.

Sorry - I don't like them.

I think Nissan got it right with the shape - overly long, contibuting to the long and low looks of the Zed, just wrong colour.

I am about to darken my repeaters to disguise the amber against the gunmetal paintwork on my car.

If I had the dosh I would buy the clear ones and tint them.

Clear units are a massive improvement but imo still look dated. Well gone off those triangle one's now but think the others are spot on, the same kind of shape just more modern.

When you subscribe I will send you my clears for free.

if your giving them away james i'll have them please!

p.s do you still need a stock alloy? if your going to japfest or someone near you is going i could take it there, would save you £20 on a courier

It's a deal

I'm off to send me money right now.

:)

Think youve made the right choice there James. The triangular ones are a big nono but i really like the second set.

I've got a similar problem at the mo. Trying to find nice rear fogs to have built into the rear bumper. Cant find anything though. :(

What i did was made one side of my reverse lights into fogs by wiring them up to the foglight switch and fitting red bulbs i think the big rear fogs look ugly on a Z IMHO
