Just get either.......

TOYO R888's

Kuhmo V70A's

Yokohama A048's

or

Yokohama A032R's

Do a google as a fair few national tyre wholesalers can get them!!

No need for full slicks IMHO!

Ask Slick Pete - I think he's had good results with Kumhos

245/45-16 Kuhmo V70A in med compound. bout £300 pair direct from Kuhmo Racing.including vat and del an fitting locally.

Jaffa is da man wit da slicks at da Pod. Dunno how much but was gonna ask him as I fancy some for next season at the Pod.

Just check first with whoever you are doing track days with as not all allow "race spec " cars to mix it with "road cars" and many would class a real slick tyred car as "race spec".

Allthe tyres on Chunks list are road legal "track tyres".

As Chunk says, no need for full slicks. There are some very good tyres out there with minimal tread that will be more than sufficient. All the usual manufacturers do them so hunt around with some of the on-line tyre people.
