Replacing condensor (Air Conditioner)

Hi All i cant remember if you have to take out the radiator to change the condensor or if you can get it out through the headlight centre panel after removing the airfilter and MAS?( avoiding Rad Removal?)

    Rad and rad fan shroud out, it sits in front of the cooling rad and is attached at the top with 2 bolts and at the bottom with 2 rubber push fit mounts.

    Take it thet you got it then?

    Yes mate I was very suprised at how quickly it came!! They normally take a week/ 5 working days...

    dont forget the reciever/dryer should be replaced also, & should be fitted immediatly before regassing. :)

    Fitted Condensor,replaced reciever/drier,Regassed including dye/pag oil all working then after 10 mins no fan then Loud Fart from compressor????? Turned air con off immediately!!!! Fart stopped!!!

    It sounds like my fan is not comming in when pressure too high?

    Fan does work ive tested it and it comes on in heavy traffic some times or when in situ...but not with air con??? :confused:

    I had a prob on another car, was a low pressure cut out switch as diagnosed by an aircon expert.

    I spent ages scratching my head about it, he turned up to re gas it and said...you need a new switch...bought it, unscrewed the old one..puff of gas....screwed in the new one..all working. did not cost a great deal
