speed convertor......help please

the power steering is hard sometimes and the speedo is going up and down all the time.I've changed the speed sensor and was still the same so i bought a new speed convertor as well which i just fited now but stiil doing the same thing . i just dont know what's wrong so i need a bit of help guys pleaseee

    i've removed teh speed convetor and is still the same....was ok for few hundred meters but it start goind up and down again

    cbr- what exactly do you mean by "the speedo is going up and down all the time"? Does it sometimes read correctly then cut in and out, or is it doing something else?

     

    Personally I think it sounds like a problem with the speedo signal. If it still happens without the converter then maybe there's a poor connection somewhere?

    Yes Mark,the speedo is working ok but just sometimes and just for a bit and then it just jumps between the readings (from 0-180)
