PTU is it Mitsubitshi or Hitatchi

I asks my local Nissan Dealer for a price for a New PTU unit. The car is a series IV (I'm told) November 1994. So I want the series II PTU.

 

His reply was is that the Mitsubitshi or the Hitatchi?

 

B*llockst if I know. Anyone out there who can help.

 

Maybe a part No for the series II as I'm sure he's got the part numbers wrong. Though we agreed with each other as to what part it was on their Feesh.

    I have a series 2 for sale, its a mitsubishi

     

    I've just been on with Courtesy who inform me that all series II PTU's are are Hitatchi and that the Mitsubitshi units are series I and no longer available. :shock: The series II PTU was first used on late series III (93) cars apparently according to Middlehursts. :confused:

    sounds correct I just put a new series 2 ptu on mine and your best getting it from luke at the Z centre good advice and cheapest
