Haunted Wipers

For no reason my wipers start at normal speed constant even when in the off position and wont stop. If I move the dial to intermittant they still stay on at normal constant speed. Then they will stop as sudden as they started and work normally again. Ive changed the relay but that made no difference. Anyone else had this problem?

    Strange!

    Could be a dodgy switch, or even water in the motor, shorting out the contact? Best bet would be to look at the motor, and if you cant see anything then change the switch unit, and see if that makes any difference.
