Indiglo gauges

Saw these on ebay.

Not everyone’s cup of tea I know but I quite fancy them, much cheaper than replacement white gauges as well.

Problem is I have a UK spec car, the speedo only goes up to 160.

Would the speedo still read accurately up to 160 or would the gauge need recalibrating?

I looked into it. They will need recalibrating.

If any one know how to do this tell me cos I have wanted Indiglo dials for ages. Or we could find the company who made them and ask them to make some for the UK dials. If we get enough people they might just do it.

Stuart

I'd be up for that smile.gif

have a word with luke at the z centre even if he doesnt do them at the moment he can get them made im sure

OK, in order to try and make amends for causing grief here the other night, I might be able to help out if you guys want electro-lumi dials.

I know a guy who custom makes them (did some for the MKIV Supe & has done Skyline, GTi-R etc etc). They are top quality kit (I had some in my Supe). If you want to look how they look (if you see what I mean), go to:

http://www.concept-shop.com/nath/interior.html

and scroll down to the electro lumi bit.

If anyone is interested, I can put you in contact. They are quite reasonable as well, but he would probably only do a minimum order of 10 or so.

Cheers

Eric

I have a spare dash that he could use to get the design of the dials. Is any one up for this??

Stuart

Im well up for that depending on price.

So long as they have 180mph on them im very keen.

So how do we go about this then

Those are very sexy biggrin.gif

I want...

Tim

He will make them specifically to order. ie. give him a set of dials and he will use those to make his template, so they will be an exact match for your current dials.

If someone wants to mail me off list, with some contact details for one of you guys, I can call him tomorrow and ask him to contact you.

He would probably want some kind of deposit on a set of 10, as if only 1 or 2 sets are sold, he will be left with a load of dials hanging around, and it wouldn't be economical for him just to make up a couple of sets.

They really are very good, and worth the money.

Any ideas of cost?

mm I'd be interested subject to cost!!!

I think Eric paid about £130 for dials for his Supra back in April/May time.

Not sure how that compares to other dial kits in the UK but some of the white dial kits from the states work out at approx £120+ and dont light up in the same way.

The blue electro lumi kit looks quite good an I maybe interested (if santa thinks i've been good biggrin.gif ).

I have called Indiglo once and they also said that the guages are different from year to year. I dont remmber exactly but I think there are 3 different sets.

I not quite sure but they dont do for 1990 as far as I remember

Correct me if I am wrong

NitroPow

Did they give you any idea of price when you spoke to them?

I was of the impression that you were only buying replacement faceplates, not the gauge internals. Unless Nissan changed the clock sizes or mounting holes on different year models (which I doubt) one type should fit all.

Yep, £130 is what I paid. The kit luminesses in blue or green, you just change it with a switch.

Eric

Count Me in for a set.

I dont think they are more than $200. But what I meant is that the faces are different from year to year. Not the whole gauge mechanism.
