I'd have the line filled and smoothed, rather than applying a new pin stripe to it.

IMO it significantly updates the appearance.

Check out Sarges, mine is being deswadged and all the chip gaurd removed to give it that smooth look

Some guy in the States was selling the proper striping kits for these the other week, if I can fine his details I'll let you know. He was doing them in the colour of your choice aswell!
