was at work today in my trannie van pottering around sunderland when i noticed another new speed camera in pallion just off kayl road. then i got thinking i wish there was a section on this site where people could post new camera sites for everyone to see. the fact that we drive such powerfull cars its only a matter of time before we get points on our licencse. I just thought if we had something like this on the site we would have a better chance of avoiding the dreaded points and fine. Just a thought i was having so if u think that this is a lame idea then in advance sorry but i thoght it would be worth mentioning

Problem is, I think, we can have a section for everything, and it will end up looking like Scoobynet.co.uk with more sections than members, well nearly.

 

Also if I post about a van parked up on the B9252 for example, it would only be handy if,

 

A) There are people around that area who know what and where the B9252 is

B) If the van is there a lot of all of the time,

C) People who are going traveling plan their route and then search the camera page for any mention of any of the roads they will be going down. Which could mean searching for the road number of every road and street name of every road they will go going on.

D) That it is kept upto date. Posts where sightings of these cameras have gone, the posts are amended or removed.

 

Other wise over the years we will have a forum page full of single posts about sightings which are only relivent for a very small percentage of the forum members.

ive heard they are great but i thought they were becoming illegal the thread i started was just a spare of the moment thought now i think about it it was a daft idea maybe i shud think morev before starting a thread
