what bulbs are people using once theyv upgraded to 99 spec rear lights?

 

went into halfrauds and local parts places and the only bulbs that would fit were clear - cant find any orange or silvatec style ones???

 

any ideas?

I use the orange ones, best to go to a motor factors as Harry Hafrauds staff are as thick a pig shite :D

Went on ebay and got myself some Silver Rear bulbs that light up Orange

I bought a pair of silvertec ones from Motor World for £5.99, not sure if you have one near you but that was the best deal I could find.

I got regular Amber indicator bulbs from Halfords. Although Looking at the car out my window now, you can just make out the orange bulb inside, so best to go for the Silver ones that light up orange.

did my rear lenses couple of weeks ago, and managed to get my bulbs from halfords for £3.99! they wernt in the normal bulb aisle though, so were hard to find....i was about to leave untill someone with some brains in halfords (there are some you know) pointed me in the right direction. i think they were from a range of bulbs called PRISM. hope you find them!! :hyper:

I'd stick with amber bulbs, i bought the silver coated ones but found them dangerously dim in daylight.

I've also got the amber bulbs. Got them from these people , only .95p per bulb.

They do the proper red bulbs aswell, only £1.85, if you want to go for the clear Tail/Brake lenses at the rear aswell... But if you do, 1) Apparently it's illegal :confused:, and 2) I just happen to have four of these available if anybody wants them :D
