I want to replace the bulbs in my headlights but I can't find schematics on workshop manual. Do I have to remove the front panel and take the headlight units out? I do not seem to be able to get to back of units otherwise.

 Keep looking behind the headlights, they're there..

honest. Can be a bit tricky with the fusebox in the way.

If you have bov's on hardpipes it will be real tricky!

They will need removing.

I have replaced the bulbs after enduring slight pain to my hands. However I'm confused now because the ones I have replaced are the full beam (the rectangle lights) and I assume the round outer lights are the dipped headlights. I was trying to improve the light emitted and seemed to have failed. Any experts out there on headlights?

Round ones are dipped/main. Rectangle are full beam.

If you want to improve the normal lights then get some better bulbs. I got PIAA bulbs .. not cheap but better than shining a torch out of the window to see where you are going.
