hi all does anyone know if u can get replacement sills for my 2x2 zed mine is uk and is rotten if so how much?

however I had to have mine made up by a bodyshop locally, it cost me 170quid a side for the rears, but the price could be up to twice that as they didn't realise the job they had undertaken

luckilly my dad is an extremely good plater/welder just wanting to know how much a new sill is before asking him to make it up himself cheers for advice

I'd seen that they have inner sills as well as the rear sections - does anyone know if these are always needed? Dont want to start it and find I need inners as well.

I bought mine from the Zcentre they are a really good fit for a pattern part, I bought the outer sill as it would be a lot of work to get the double curve right, welded that in place then fabricated my own inner sills in place
