i've been browsing for wheels i like and can't find many but came across some really tasty ones.

they are 19x7 but also availible in 18x7.5 but like the sound of 19"

would these go straight on they are the correct fitment also whats the biggest tyres i can fit to these eg. 265? also what profile would i go for the best ride, fitmant and not scrub?

One other thing if i was going to get a set of toyos what model are the ones to get?

Oh i just lied one other thing promise this time  has anyone heard or used http://www.performancealloys.com in nothern ireland????

Yes, 19's can fit but 7" wide is too narrow, you'd probbaly only be able to fit up 225 wide tyres on them. Stock UK rear alloys are 8.5"

You'll need info like PCB, Offset..etc to find out correct fitment.

oh what that makes things really hard, 8.5 are fairly hard to come by i've found so far. any reconmendations where to look?

What are the standered Jap size wheels?

would 18x17.5 fit then or doesn't the .5 make enough difference.

oh right 7.5 is ok then?

yea but prob is, i don't like many styles on there but look at the "Kei racing RSS Inox GM 18x7.5" would do you think about them.

My zed is black i think they will look the nuts.

Seriously mate, don't put 7/7.5" width alloys on. They are WAY too small. Less width=less tread "footprint"=less traction. Remember you're driving a 3 litre, twin turbo'd car! They might be ok for the Saxo/Corsa brigade but not for our cars.

I agree with Cliff :p standard 8.5 should be the minimum width, usually people go wider while they're upgrading.

I agree, 7.5 wide are ok for fronts as a minimum - go 8 wide on the fronts and 9 or 10 on the rears.

Not only would most aftermarket 7.5 wide wheels be thin, they would probably not clear the brakes either - the ZX has big calipers.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Yep, 8.5 - 10"....although Im not sure if you can go as wide as 10" on 19's with stock arches. But 10" is fine for 18"

I'm having the same problem bud. It's difficult finding "nice" wheels in the right size/width fitment etc. TBH it looks like I'm going to end up importing a set.

I got a set of Mille Miglia F20's & set of Toyo Proxes for £1550

Front were 8.5" (235x35x19)

Rears were 9.5" (265x30x19)

They look the dogs hairy bits.

You can see the wheels in my ride section.

Steve

I emailed performance alloys when I was looking, even though the website says they will fit, performance alloys couldnt guarantee this. Same with most companies I spoke to. Wheelbase in M/cr recommend a couple of wheels in 19s that will fit. Got mine from wheelmania, not exactly what I wanted, but limited to choice.

Barry.

I do like the Pacifics, great price for 19's too... might be tempted by a set of these next year, the more I look at them the more I like 'em
