I am a little concerned with the illumination given by my headlights. They seem very dull, has anyone else suffered this or do they have suggestions on how to improve them?

You need HID ;)

Same here.Went out last night for first time and thought I was Stevie Wonder !!

Think mine are not in line, must get them looked at ......some time.

Firstly, zeds have poor dipped beam headlights to start with, so it depends on which beam it is that you find poor, if its the high beam, then its likely to be a fault, try cleaning all connections especially the earths remove the bulbs and make sure the terminals are clean, also there is a mod that involves soldering a wire on to older models, I thinks this is to improve the earth but I'm not sure. of course there are H.I.D kits available, these are really effective and bring the lights up to and above some modern light systems.

There are links to all light issues at the top.

Hope this helps a little.

Is it a huge job to do and the cost? to a 90TT :nana2:

plug and play, easy,

price, last group buy £210 i think.

got em on mine :D

I have the same trouble with mine. Drove from cornwall to swindon a few weeks back and ended up getting my mate to shine my heavy duty torch out the window! lol. Couldn't see that poor cow!! sorry. he he he :wack:

HIDs are the way forward (especially in the dark !!)

Mark at Outlander in traders section is where I got mine.

After owning one without and then buying my current one already fitted with HIDs, it could be the difference between an emergency stop or a smashed up Zed, the difference is astronomical. £200 to save your life? Worth it I reckon ;)

Odd thing: I don't think they're that bad and I'm pretty certain I don't have HID... then again, I was driving a Renault up until a few weeks ago.

Mine don't have HID and they're fine. But the car is quite new.

I think the headlight glass gets mucky on the inside with age. Possibly made worse when condensation builds up in there.

They're awkward to clean but it can be done.

well ive come up with the only true solution ,you go find that little man called yoda in the forest ,train for 5 years and when he has finished with you your a fully trained jedi and then you dont need lights because you can use the force ....... plus you get the chance to kill jabba the gut.
