Just remembered a few years back our MD

held a competition and the best performing

region was presented with a Porsche 944

to drive around in for a week.

 

The worst performing region had it for a

month! LOL

How do council tennants keep warm in the evenings?...They set fire to the Datsun 300ZX in their front garden!

THe answer......they are driven by some tasteless individual with a name like "porker"

An older woman was cruising a busy parking lot just before Christmas in her new Mercedes, looking in vain for a parking space. She finally saw someone loaded with packages headed for his car, so she followed him, put on her blinker and waited patiently until he pulled out. Just as he pulled out, a young man in a sleek black Porshe zipped into the space ahead of her. She was dumbfounded and outraged, and jumped out of her car shouting, "How could you do that? Didn't you see my signal?" to which he replied, "That's what happens when you're young and fast." As the young man was about to enter the store, he heard the hideous crunch of metal striking metal. He ran back horrified, to see the woman had gunned her Mercedes and smashed it into his beautiful black Porshe. He ran back and cried, "How could you do that?" to which she replied, "That's what happens when you're old and rich!!!"

Am I jealous of people who own a Porch? Yes I am!

 

But at the end of the day, I'd rather pay a few K for a car that can out perform a car that costs many, many more K's...dig it? Yep!

 

P.S. Porch owners are jealous and miffed that a Datsun can whoop a Porch and cost as much as a weekly shop at Tesco...dig that? Yep!

on that note... i would have to say the 944 turbo(951) is alot like the 300zx.

 

They are relatively inexpensive to buy used

Parts are cheap if you perform your own labor

and easy mods add a lot of power

 

I would never buy a newer 911 .. what a fuggin' rip off.
