Strange Noise Help!

Ok heres the deal. I basically stuck a new battery in my Z, back-to-front :(

Fried the abs, alternator and a few fuses! Had an auto electrician fix it all and now here is my dilemma.

When the car idles, sounds like a low rumble up front :headvswal :headvswal somewhere, almost a vibration. Wasn't there before the battery incident. It goes away as soon as you step on the gas a little, but returns at idle. Electrican seems to think it might be to do with the exhaust flow? sounds like crap to me, any ideas guys? seems strange that it goes away with a little gas. Don't think it's doing any damage, (hopefully not), but is annoying.

If you had the alternator repaired, maybe the belt has been adjusted to tight when it was refitted, just a guess but check the tension.

glad you got it sorted breed .....check that the viscous fan is free and not catching on anything at tickover
