hicas issues

Hi to all, i have heard removing the hicas sysytem from my tt ukz is a worthwhile thing to do. Do i need one of those hicas elimanator bars on the traders sites and is there a general benifit to it other than having probs!!

    Short out the connector on the power steering pot will disable the hicas, a red warning light will come on dash just unplug the bulb.
