How much u spent on the zed , not including buying her , so just on mods and fitting....wondered how mad people gone !!

I totalled mine up about 6 months ago, mines been quite reliable (touch wood) and ive spent on servicing bits and bobs and a few small mods just over £5k, not including the car, guess that is not bad for nearly 3 years.

 

Now if i added on purchase price tax insurance and PETROL it would take the bill to around £20k, quite shocking really.

i added mine up. in five yrs its £5795 .00 not including petrol road tax etc .

just parts that have been needed.

every time i hear how much you've spent mac i always think mines not that bad, only about £1700 in 7 months.

Think when mine is back on the road 15 - 20k worth every penny though

Approx £600 in 4 months and this includes NOTHING to enhance the car, its just to get the damn thing working right... :cry:

 

I do have a secret shopping list that the missus doesn't know about for when the cars sorted though ;)

I bought my car for £7k and it already had the following mods: SE bodykit, alloys, stage 2 turbos, air filter, uprated clutch, underdrive pulley, full SS exhaust system, boost gauge, forged pistons, running @ 16 psi - and a full engine re-build by SE/Nisstek.

 

Since then I have only spent on two new Eagle F1 rear tyres, servicing by Ztech and a Road Angel 2 - so less than £1k spent.

£10K + but loved every minute. Its almost a hobby rather than just owning a car.

I'd have to agree, it is a hobby. as for how much i've spent, I wouldnt know, and dont want to, if I did and posted it on here, the wife would kill me!!!

Did work it out once to be about £6k on mods, but then over half that is on wheels. prob about £1500 on repairs etc, and a ridiculous amount on insurance!

 

Had the car bout 15 months

lol - I guessed between £5-10K. Not had the time (or balls!) to do the maths! Alot can happen in 8 years ;)

Still isn't finished yet tho, rekon I't'll have cost me £4000 in mods by the time I've finished.

I reckon my bill is gonna be way over £15k :(

 

I must be crazy, i could have saved all that money and bought a brand new car but im really worried that the amount of £15k is gonna go drastically higher very quickly :(

 

havent even started on my interior or sounds and there are loads more things that need doing

Just read through my service history, total to date is £5702.54, makes me glad i work in the motor trade or it could quite easily be more than double that.
