Was thinking, If you put the normal main beam lights and wiring into the bigger inner reflective dish do you think you'd end up with a better light distribution than where they are as standard? And of course put the full beam lights into the little outer pods.

Just a thought to remove DARKOVISON!!! without a HID upgrade.

Takemetothepub:- interesting thought, one of which I have also had in the past but I don't think that it can work. Simply because of the shape of the reflector. The main beam is designed to give big ass light when you are going down unlit roads etc and the normal lights are purposely directed through the lense so that they don't blind every other mofo on the road.

Let us know if you get a way of doing it though, would be interested in seeing it.

I have a feeling that the effect would be:

a) You'd be able to see really well.

b) Oncoming traffic would be able to see sweet F-A thanks to you basically having your full beams on all the time ;)

c) You'd fail an MOT because of the light-pattern on dip being too 'big'..

I think, anyway..

Ba humbug the lot of you!

Yeah, I hate Christmas, me ;)
