Less load on the Crank to spin, so quicker revving....meaning quicker acceleration and about a 10hp-12hp increase.

less mass to rotate = less power absorbed during acceleration = quicker pickup. Allegedly. :D

Can someone tell me what benefit this would be in fitting to the car????

Had mine done couple of weeks ago, it was only a cheapo ebay one but it works fine, hasn't made a massive difference but it's noticeable

most people woudl say to avoid the ones on ebay. Most have no timing marks and at that price they could be badly balanced.

Do you feel a difference after fitting it?

By the way Gio i saw your white 300zx in a magazine about 2 years ago....that was the casting reason why i bought one...thought you might like to know!!

I helped fit one last week on Greg's car. He said it definatly revved noticably quicker and he could feel the improvement in acceleration.

avoid the ones on ebay. too cheap. Most have no timing marks and that price they could be badly balanced.

Have noticed no vibrations from mine & it was of very good quality IMHO

Not much diiffernce top end but revs pick up quicker. If the quality was questionable I wouldn't have had it fitted although only time will tell!!

Pulsar who's the picture of the woman?????

It's Natasha Marley! She's a very naughty girl from top shelf mags (not that I buy them cough cough) & I think she was Miss Fast Car 2004 or something.  She is a honey

Glad you liked it - must have been someone else's as mine is the fastest colour ;)

Get One!!!!!!;)

just ordered a sgp one from smithy - will let u know how i get on ;)

do these work just aswell on an automatic ?? and is there loads of work required or can it be done yourself?

I put a unortherdox racing one on mine and you can definatly feel the difference oh and i ripped out all my aircon while i was there for even less drag.

i have had the unorthadox pulley fitted , ripped out air con, have rps flywheel and a bottom end balance to get exact balance correct for the pulley. but not driven her yet as she being finished off at ztech , but il also let u know my opinion when she is back.

i like mine! slightly better accleration, and revs drop quicker there is more engine noise through the midrange not a bad thing though :)

Had an Ebay one put on when my cambelt was done. Could notise the revs rise easyer up to 3K rpm, over that cant tell cos the turbos are kicking in!

But for £25 do it, nicely made no ballence issuse.

PULSAR, does your one have the timing marks on it, cos the one i see on ebay does'nt.

No, it had no marks on it but the mech who fitted it didn't even mention that it could be a problem & since fitting it has been spot on.

Sorry for the delayed reply I can only access internet at work!!

P.S I have exactly the same alloys as you, any idea what make they are & if you can get a finisher for the centre??

I bought one last week, hung it on my garage wall, made fook all difference to the revs or acceleration am i doing something wrong?? :headvswal :headvswal
