My outlaws have just returned from USA with local papers and new car prices/offers....350Z Coupe for just under 25k dollars :smash: on the road ffs.....back to the old common knowledge that aint we being ripped off big style. :smash:

Bloody 350z is the reason our cars fetch such low prices. our car was 40k new and the 350z id what 20k ish. if they bough out a true replcement for the 300zx our cars would still fetch 10 grand

I booked mine at 34k in 1993, still no justice for the price difference from here to usa though between a car thats basically the same apart from the steering wheel is moved.

I guess the 2nd hand car market is to blame for all the prices falling, people like Arnold Clark here in Scotland, complete rip-off *******s, I was offered 4.5 k for my x-plate xsara picasso last year even though it booked trade at 6k, i did get 6 k at a dealer next to them and the car I bought was 500 quid cheaper. Main dealers=rip off *******s when it comes to trading in cars which has an effect on the whole 2nd hand car market.

I orderd a few bits over the years from courtesy nissan in TEXAS & they nickname the UK as treasure Island, coz we pay so much for the same part in the same bag made by the same bloke in Japan!

Still ... saved me £98 on the same part delivered to my door inc delivery & tax from the states.

 

Now what does that smell of :x:

Harve i have ordered loads from Courtesy as well. Saved me a fortune compared to UK prices even with my Motor Trade Discount.
