COIL needed!!!

ok, big weight off my shoulders - i was giving up hope that my zx would ever work properly, but ive found out today that i think it just needs 1 new coil for 1 of the spark plugs. someone is gonna switch a few of the coils around to test the theory that one is out. so.......

anyone any bright ideas WHERE I CAN GET A COIL FROM- i think its just the 1, for one cylinder [i hope]

any ideas.......ben

Get in touch with "Beamer 2". I bought one off him last week and I think he said that he had another for sale.

Alternatively, if you wanna pop up to mine at any time, you are most welcome. I have a spare one you could try too.

What state is the Z in?

Ive got one send me an E mail if interested

with tel No to sort it.

My work here is done!

erm ben, before you get to excited, how did you come to the conclusion it was the coil, was it by lifting the connectors off, 1 by 1 and listening for engine noise drop, if this was the case, did you swap coils round and the drop in engine noise swapped also, if so that's okay, just hate to see you hand dosh over if it turns out to be something else, let us know if the symptoms followed the faulty coil, smithy
