Well guyz they do exist, I decided to test my new TC off a wet roundabout, and yes, it works, mega grin factor.
Anyway I went off the round-about down the dual carriageway like a scalded cat, took it upto an indicated 70 and held it there, next thing Ive got blue flashing lights behing me - Oops!
I pull up and the copper gets out 'what speed do you think you were doing?', 'about 45 round the roundabout and 70 down the DC', 'try again', 'how much', well we couldn't keep up with you and we registered 89!
Oh dear sinking feeling...
...'you wanna get a f'in Micra, that thing's gonna get you in deep trouble, you've got 3lts and f'ck knows what else under there, I hate traffic cops but they will screw you into the ground if they catch you doing that'
'Oh sorry'
'I'm not going to give you a ticket, just take it easy, you'll get known in that f'kin red think'
'thanks very much, I'll be on my best behaviour'.
It was at this point I noticed that he was wearing a flack jacket, they were an ARU! Glad I didn't pi$$ them off.
A lesson learnt there - time to get me speedo calibrated
Thank you Bobby for being human, I've just come home to have a beer and calm down now. LOL
Drive carefully guyz and galz
