Just Replaced A Faulty O2 Sensor On The Z And Its Now Running Much Better. However I've Noticed The Idle Seems A Little High At 1100 Rpm.

Any Ideas What Might Be Causing This?

Hi,

Try cleaning out the throttle bodies and spraying carb cleaner down the AIV :)

Vijay

already done it on the throttle bodies.

whats the aiv?

Is it okay to spray this stuff in when the engine is running?

is there any form of manual idle adjustment (j-spec manual) or is it controlled by the ECU?

I assume 800rpm would be normal after warm-up

750 and its ecu controlled,

have you reset the ecu? it may take 200mile to settle down, I am hopeing that repalcing my o2 sensors will help settle my idle down a bit

thanks for that.

this cars got more widgets than frankensteins laboratory!

i,ve just done one of the o2 sensors and have reset the ECU so maybe it just needs time to re-adjust itself
