Clear Repeaters

Someone on here a while ago was talking about getting hold of clear repeaters, does anyone remember who it was ?

Pay day soon, time for some goodies

I'd like some aswell, are these the indicators in the bumper or just the ones on the wing?

I'm after some for the front wing, if you find any let me know what car they are from???

The Nismo ones for the front (outside front lights which are dummys on the UK Z) are called clear lights although you can still see orange inside... which can be cleared - I dunno how.

Just the side ones mate, also check your mail

Get the side repeaters from discount autoparts tel 01223 324952, (Cambridge) £30.00, smithy

Smithy... Hi...

What are these replacement ones? What car do they come from and are they the same except clear?

ta.

Excact same as what you've got, but clear, crappy little orange bulbs though, seen somewhere you can get bulbs with a whitey/gold finish but come out orange when lit, smithy

BRILLIANT, THANKS SMITHY

When I had my Zed, I bought some clear repeaters for them. I actually bought Subaru Impreza ones from ABC Design (via Xtreme - 01279 412603). All you need to is rub down some of the plastic round the back of the indicator itself and it fits fine. Senna now has the car and you can just about see them on the Poole pics in the Events section. They cost me about £20.

"I hate to think what kind of replies I will get to this one, but here goes".

There is a WORD for the type of bulb Smithy mentions ('bulbs with a whitey/gold finish but come out orange when lit').

Does anybody know what it is? It would be good not to see the Orange bulb underneath.

Thanks, Geoff

and now the next thing we need to know is what size the bulbs are ! or if I'm going to push my luck even further... the part number for a silver vision bulb that will fit! cheeky git I know

I think they are standard, unlike headlights.

they are standard...

got orange bulbs in side and front - I smoked my side ones (got a black car, so looks good) and cleared my fronts

will be getting phillips clear ones when more funds become available!

Robb

I fitted aftermarket wing repeaters from the E36 BMW. I've also seen Subaru impreza repeaters used. They need to cover a biggish hole so most are no good.. Will need to get bulb holder etc from breakers to go with new lens.
