Z is set up to understeer naturally (believe it or not) which does make it a bit snappy when un-drifting again on the straight, and HICAS and the weight of the bloody thing does make it harder to do smoothly - so you might want to look into HICAS eliminator at least, and possibly a bit of diddling with cambers.

It's not the car to learn in, tho you can. Very easy to get it into a tank-slapper...

(I know, having done things in the wrong order, learning in a Z and then getting a better-balanced car and going "Oh, this is much easier!")

Mess about with some different cars on GT4 for a better idea of what I mean...

S13 cheapest, S14s are stiffer and slightly better balanced according to 3am Stella conversation with SXOC at Billing last year :D

Yeah. maybe not the best car for it but you can do it. Stick some 200SX wheels on the rear though (got this tip from gary300ZX - I saw him at the last driftUK event). They have practise events:

Think the next one is at Silverstone, £60 for practise and tuition (someone will jump in the car with you and show you what to do).

Blimey... that page actually -recommends- shift-lock drifting! Really hard to balance your way out of that again, and it's truly truly bad for the car. I'd stick to power-over in a Z. It even works in mine as long as you're early enough into the apex, and you've got at least twice the torque.

I cant even read your post lol
