No offence but stock discs and pads brand new are about £380 including greenstuff pads and brembo discs ?

Just a thaught.

Yeah but theyre stock?? - these are an aftermarket product which are grooved.

Anyways i'm not sure where u get ur prices from but i get 20% off all genuine nissan parts and they still work out 2 b £476.49 including the pads which also have 20% off the list prices. So an xtra 100 odd quid isn't much to pay when ur gettin grooved ones is it really?? + i did say i'm open 2 offers.

Thnx 4 the reply anywayz.

Kash

Kash,

I'm afraid you're on a hiding to nothing here, Warren supplied my slotted and grooved discs and pads back in September.

They are stamped as Brembo castings on the front and AP on the rears.

They are 20 grooved and excellent, As you probabally know Brembo do not modify their castings that is up to the modifyers, these I believe were grooved by 3G. I have a track day under my belt as proof of how good they are, ask Andy how well the standard set up faired, [sorry Andy, lol].

The total cost, inc. delivery £380.00

Hmmmm. R those genuine prices or is that with a dicount that u personally get?

Kash,

It was a group buy price, don't know how many people joined in.

Tim

that price is as they stand wihtout group buy i could get a set for abotu £360 with group buy.

They are genuine brembo castings.

Well i guess that explains it then really dunnit. Group buys are designed 2 get the product cheaper as u know. I only have 1 set of these, but can get original discs grooved, grooved & cross drilled or just drilled. The thing is i got these ones 4 my z but i was told that theyre not good enuff as my cars running too much power, so never used them. I need the 14" or 15" ones made by tarox or brembo with six pot calipers, AND theyre not cheap either! - £1500 or simmink just 4 the front set.

Oh shit, just read ur message - fair enuff, i loose.

I based the price around standard factory disks. Didnt know how much they actually retailed for. Wudn't have priced them so high if i did. Oh well, if thats wot theyre worth then i might aswell stick em on my S14.

LMAO. I dont mind Tim wink.gif In case you didn't hear, my brakes after my first quick run at Kemble can back to the "pitlane" prtty much on fire with loads of billowing smoke pouring out of the wheels. Meanwhile, the brake fluid was bubbling away nicely frown.gif

I think what has happened is that the people who service my car must have changed the brake fluid and pads at my last service and I hadn't checked the invoice and rtealised. I was previously using DOT5 with metal matrix pads and had gone fine at 3 track days with them. My mistake. oops. Will be getting some decent brake fluid and redstuffs pads next week, I dont like arriving at corners with no brake pedal!!
