I've been looking at your Engine By Numbers, and have noticed that your strut bar is identicle to the one I'm thinking of buying. Is yours any good? And did you get it from the US/eBay?

Yes got it from the US. It works very well you can tell the difference they way it handles.

 

Only problem I had with it is its a little too high over the plenum and catches on the bonnet a little.

I have the front & rear megan strut braces also off E-Bay. Both are v. good

& have stiffened the chassis up nicely, well worth doing :dance: :dance: :cool:

agreed,although i took the edges of the struts to the grinder got them resprayed and bonnet shuts flush

Just one more question, these come with powder coated strut tops, can they be painted straight onto the powder coating, or would I have to sand the powder coating off first (as I want them body colour)

yes dave the chap who does all my spraying sanded them just to get adhesion and they look real good lots of laquer to
