handbrake light,

Why doe sit keep staying on for ages after I've taen the brake off ? Not too worried if it's just because the brake needs adjusting, but does the light signify anything else ?

Also does anyone know how much a cv joint is for the Z ?

Zach, sounds like the handbrake switch is sticking to me - it is situated around the handbrake lever somewhere (I think!).

CV joints are on front wheel drive cars - you mean the rear drive shafts???

whoops, cheers had I thought about it more carefully I would have remembered seeing the drive shaft on my last front w d car going into the gearbox.

So, in that case I have a nasty knocking when I go over bumps coming from the front left of the car - probably in about the same place as a cv joint would be ?? Getting new springs & shocks soon and will look into getting new bushings etc - then if it knocks I will have to start worrying about the little bit of lateral movement I notice on the steering wheel when cornering hard...oh dear.
