Just to let you guys know who are going to the RR day, Japanese performance magazine will be there to cover the event, so get cleaning those cars, on the bad side i can't get there, problems with getting a car on the ferry to drive down and no matter what way i look to getting there, i just can't do it, really looking forward to meeting you guys too. A few of you have got a couple of orders with me which was arranged to bring down, please e-mail me your details and i will post to you, sorry fellas, the shit that goes with living on an island !!

It is a bugger living on an island, but unlike you, Glenski and Simon I only have to worry about both bridges being down...most unlikely!

FOR SALE — 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo | 67,975 miles | Spares or Repair

Further to my earlier post about my car, I've decided to sell my 300ZX TT and wanted to give the community first refusal before I list it more widely.
I'm sad to have to sell it as I only got it 4 months ago and it was a dream car for me. When I got it, I knew that at £8,000 it would have some issues. It has been serving me well. I've spent some time and money on it, trying to ensure that it ran well - putting new tyres on it, dealing with some leaks, and a variety of other jobs. So long as it kept running and I wasn't having to spend thousands on it, I was happy. Very happy. (You will see from the photos that I have used some black Gorilla tape to deal with a couple of scrapes, and also to do with a gap between lights and the bodywork which I figured would have been causing some unnecessary drag).
Then it overheated and stopped on a journey and had to be taken to a garage. The garage carried out a compression test and found cylinders running 30–40% below expected limits. They said that they checked the timing belt, and that it's fine, and that the problem is likely to be the head gasket. The amount they were quoting to do work on the car was far above what I was prepared to spend on it, especially as I'm not currently employed. So I got the car brought back to my house in Cardiff.
I decided to do one final check of the car myself. I checked the oil, etc, and there were no problems. But the radiator, as expected, was empty. In fact, it accepted around 10-12 litres when refilled, which was a surprise since I thought the capacity was 10 litres. Anyway, when I attempted to start the engine, coolant came out of the right exhaust — confirming a head gasket failure.
I don't know whether someone will want to try to repair this car, or use it to take parts from to fix a 300ZX they already have, but I would rather it's being used positively in either way.
I'm asking for £6,500. Collection only from Cardiff.

Well thats it now installed and i've moved on to the gearbox only to discover i think the rear oil seal is bust
as when i tilted the gearbox trying to get it on the jack it spilt its guts all over the floor from the back end.
