I bought a TT Manual. Problem..Please Read

I have a TT AUTO and last night I bought a TT MANUAL one as well. Wooowww..What can I say. It has an aftermarket exhaust leather interior and low milage.

Inside the engine there is a black box with BLITZ on (similar to the one used for boost controller). I havent seen any boost controller inside the car. I was wondering what that might be?

The last think is the stearing wheel. Its kinda heavy and especially when I turn its not smooth at all. I believe this is not normal. Anyone knows what this might be?

Thanks

Try looking on the Blitz site or johnny's grasshopper site for pictures and compare them to your black box.

The steering could be leakage in the steering fluid pipes, or possibly something more serious like steering pump failure or rack (both less likely). If the cars been lying around maybe something has seized a bit e.g the lower Universal joint. Check front tyre pressures also. Check the steering pump drive belt isn't slipping on the pulley. Try replacing your steering fluid with new stuff and maybe include an additive for renovating the internal seals e.g from Wynns. Replacing fluid is difficult but drawing it out thru the reservoir and replacing it a bit at a time can work.

good luck
