He guy's hope someone can help. I was driving the beast the other day on a 27 mile drive and about half way it missfired for about 10 seconds. 3 days later after I took her out again and she's missing all the time really bad. It's got new injector connectors and coil pack connectors fitted and I have checked the ptu connectors and all that seems ok.

It's only missing on the cylinder on the drivers side at the back as when i take the coil pack connector off it makes no difference to the running. It has been dry since I took it out first time ans I have the splash guard still in place so the filter wasn't damp.

I'm going to do an ecu test this afternoon - will this tell me whats up?

Was going to say coil pack, but if they are new and the connection is good no idea mate, obviously leccy issues before it gets to that coil :S

Change round the coil packs and the spark plugs see if the problem moves.

Took off the offending connector today and put a multi meter connection on it then plugged it back in and it was the same. Listened for the injector pulse and it seemed faint compared to the other 5. Then all of a sudden it was ok. Drove it for approx 30 miles. Came to it the next morning and after 5 miles it was the same again.

So any suggestions now?

Ivan

The injector pulse was faint?

Maybe the injector connection is faulty, or the injector itself.
