Has anyone got a picture or can point me in the right direction of how to pressurise the intake system. I have got a leak somewhere I think which is giving me an irratict tick over & stalling problem. I'v heard there is an easy way of checking this. Any advice would be greatfully received ;)

About 2 years ago Vijay got some things made up to just do this job. You put his "boost leak detector" on the Y intake hose and pump air in.

Listen for leaks.

Locate leaks

Fix leaks.

Simple :D

There are quite a lot of people who need these so maybe its Vijay could be persuaded to get some more made up if there are enough who want them.

Thanks fella. I had heard of Vijay's leak detector but was hoping to sort it out tomorrow before the Zed meet at Ironbridge on Sunday. ;)

The only way to do it is to make your own leak detector.

I did it with 2 bake bean cans, a car valve and lost of gaffer tape. Wasnt that good though.

Can I not just take the induction kit off, block the end somehow & pump air into it thruogh that?

If not what is the Y intake hose?

Yep, thats what a Boost leak detector does, you need a decent seal.

The Y-intake is the Y-shaped pipe where the Induction kit bolts up to.
