clarion amp ?

Is the round clarion thing I just found under the plastic bits in the boot on the off side an amp ? and is it any good

    It is indeed the Stock Amp (for the optional Bose system I think), wether its any good or not though, I dont know.

    Its CRAP!!

    Last weekend I rigged up some Kenwood 6x9s to it. Loads of hiss, even when off and certain frequencies distort at any volume. This might be different if you are using standard speakers as they will be of a lower wattage. My Kenwoods are 220watts. ATM i've got them hooked up to the head unit with cables I put in myself and it sounds great. :D
