you cant use usb to usb - it would have to be something like a usb to 9 pin serial - greddy are adamant you have to use their own cable - but they would say that.

hmmm... i had read through the manual of the emanage i had before i sold it and i definately remember it telling me to get a cable from any computer store. but i may be thinking about the emanageprofece01 cable and not the emanagePC cable

it should be a standard type cable alex, greddy will only sayt that so they can charge you £50 for a cable that cost 50p

i hope so - i just need to identify exactly what cable it is - if anyone has one i can borrow i can get another made up

not entierly sure this is what you need though, needs software to work it, you might need the official greddy cable and software for it to work.

I will have a look and see if i have all the stuff for the e-manage tommorrow. Should have as i got the whole kit when i bought mine. Will let u know tommorrow and u can borrow it if u still need it.

yes mate - if i can borrow it i would be very grateful,

 

all of those cables seem to connect a serial device to a usb and NOT a usb devide to a serial port.
