I lost my oem keys for my Z & it was the only one, so my babyz jus sittin there. what do I do?

Cant Nissan make keys for a particular lock if you take the lock to them?

think they can cut them from just the chassis number if you present the ownership documents etc …but they wouldn’t do mine as its an import. Think they were just being awkward though

yeh take a door barrel out preferably drivers side,take to a locksmith and they will make a key from the door for the ignition,although some cars dont have as many wafers/pins on a door barrel as the ignition so a search is required :)

Presuming you can get into your car, I'd say a complete lock set, not the cheapest option but definately the safest!!

 

Try MJP auto in the traders section, Im sure Mike could help you on that on!

Do you not have the key no?, the glove compartment in mine has a label with the key no recorded on it.

If the car is locked, you could contact nissan with the car details, you will have to send/fax log book details to them, they can then advise the key no and you can go to any locksmith and have one made.

just so you know mate the 300zx windows are shatter proof and would take about 50 whacks before theyd smash!

 

the car has an anti shut down alarm as standard which if triggered locks you in the car and wont let you out.. you could always climb through the shattered window and cut yourself ;)
