OK....I have eventually come to the deccision that after 26yrs i think i may be a few slices short of a loaf.

 

When i payed my Zedtonians for my new Z i never knew it had aircon untill i took my Z to Baggins who pointed it out and..yes...i felt stupid.

 

Now this next episode is even better....

 

Took my Z for MOT today and it failed on rear fog light...Just couldnt get it to work.

Tried the bulb....wasn't the bulb :nono:

Tried the fuse....wasn't the fuse :nono:

Tried finding a positive feed....wasn't a positive feed :nono:

Strange thing was the light on the switch came on but no power to the lead :confused:

 

So the MOT place failed it on no rear fog. :cry:

This evening i was just talking to greg bout nice switches to fit for that extra bLiNg factor when it suddenly dawned on me that I had an odd switch mounted on my dash that i had never used before :eek:

Yes....i just went out to check it and sure enough it was the switch for the rear foglight...some fooker put it there without tellin me the one on the dash didnt do anything. :mac1:

 

Anyway.....

I couldn't get the key out of the ignition (i forgot there was an anti snatch switch) when i test drove the first one i felt like a right twat when some 18 year old lad showed me the error of my ways!!!! :headvswal

Well if it makes you feel better when i bought my car down to Ryan my front washer jets weren't working and it turns out it was because the hoses weren't plugged into the jets!!!

had exactly the same in my old one with a crappy key, had new ones cut from 300 blanks and thy work perfectly

this is the mother of fvk ups---when i bought my first zed many years ago i decieded to start down the road of tuning,first job a boost gauge,in the afternoon i was still lookin for boost pipe,20 lambert-butler later ide fookin sussed that i bought a n/a,well only half true coz the dude who sold me the car had took the tubs off and left them off and not told me. not a happy intro into the zed world,lot older now and a lot more untrustin of people

The first time i wanted a zx was about 6 years ago, went and test drove a red TT, and loved it...got back to the showroom, and turned the car off, motor kept running...

 

I argued like fook with salesman, to the point of threatening him bodily harm for trying to rip me off....

 

It was about 2 years later, i found out about turbo timmers :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash:

ive got one beta ive been trying to sort out my running problem for over a year it was eating the petrol only getting 45 miles to £20 worth of petrol tried all sorts then found out last month that ive been running around in my car for a year with the aircon on full blast (using the front window demister as my heater controlls) i didnt even know it had aircon the guy who sold it to me said it didnt have aircon only found out when i read the hand book i felt a right twat :headvswal

I did this to in a petrol station after buying the car looked a right prat, pulled up to the pump released the fuel cap door then sat in the car pulling at the key for a while,untill i pushed button much to the amusement of everybody watching!! :rofl: :rofl: :nana2:

oh another i forgot to add was when in a petrol station pull up turn ignition off,and the push the fuel cap release,tried again!!!and again!!!and again no joy,in the end i had to sit a weight on the release arm and go get a small screwdriver inside to pull it open

 

that was embarrasing,the chap who sprayed my car bent the sprung steel tensioner inside the petrol cap so it had no resistance when opening dohh,bent it back problem solved although i chipped the paintwork in doing so :wack:
