could some one tell me how and were you put the dump valve on a british

 

300zx twin turbo.

 

it's me brother's car and he's not realy getting anywere fast with them.

 

any picture's or diagram' would be of great help as i could print them off for him.

 

 

plus would you think an fto gr would beat this car or should it loose badly.

 

 

by the way i own a rover 220 turbo witch is very quick just not as quick as

 

your cars.

dont think the fto would stand much chance

if you have a look through the rides section you will probably find some engine pics of other members cars for the dump valves

Sorry cant answer the BOV install.

 

The FTO GR is the lower spec FTO and is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay slower than a 300zx!

 

Your comparing a FWD Small engined NA Sports coupe to a RWD Japanese Twin Turbo Supercar

 

FTO GR - (slower than a Slow thing..going slowly..backwards)

180 bhp

0-60 : 7.9 secs

Top speed : 136 mph

 

FTO GPX- (One for the Missus, or good First Jap car for young driver)

200 bhp

0-60 : 6.9 - 7.1 secs (depending on where you read)

Top speed : 142 mph

 

300zx - (The original Jap Supercar)

300bhp

0-60 : 5.2 - 5.6 secs (depending on where you read)

Top speed : 165mph +

depends which make of BOV mate. some replace the recircs that sit just ahead and to each side of the radiator. some are fitted onto the hard pipes under the bonnet. The ApexI one commonly replaces the recircs. I think all the others are hard-pipe.

there bailey dump valves and they have all the bits to fit.

Had A Rover 220 Turbo Myself. 300zx Will Decimate It No Problem.

Yup, I upgraded a few years back from my old Tomcat, its a quick car but my 300zx bck in standard form would have wooped ass.... :)

 

FTO.... MUUUWHHHAAAAAA!!!! BEHAVE! :D
