Replacing Vacuum Pipes

Hi all,

Feel like replacing all the vacuum pipes in the engine bay with some nice blue piping :D . Is this an easy job to do without taking loads of other parts off or is it a right pain in the Ar :D ?? What sort of time has it taken people to do this??

Bary (Hexaking) might have a job for ya bud if its too technical for me ;) and no removing anything else cause you dont think it needs to be there

Smithy do you still do this piping??

Thanks all.

Yes mate i sure do, it simply entails searching all over the engine bay and spot a vac line, take it off, cut new piece of blue and re-fit, go round the whole engine bay doing all that you can see, takes a wee while to find em all, but it looks well and sometimes can be known to cure the odd boost leak by finding hoses a wee bit lose that you never knew you had :p

Thanks mate,

How much is your kit?? I am hoping it will cure any leaks, dont think I have any just bored of the little buggers popping off under the throttle bodies :headvswal .

Are all the vac pipes the same diameter or does your kit have all different sizes in it?
