Need some feedback on an idea.............

I know[stop groaning!]right, what I'm thinking is to junk the side repeaters-that's the easy bit!

Then what to do with the wings??-do I:

1. smooth em'

2.fit some sort of vent

or 3.Fit some sort of vent like an aston martin as?

Yep you guessed I'm toying with no'3! :D

Err that's where the're going dude!-that's sorted![ish] :D

:D nice on fella.....:D

Depends on the type of vent I think mate. I got shot of the repeaters and smoothed them over myself as 1) I think it looks good without them (with or without a vent ;)) and 2) it makes fitting the arches I have in mind easier (I keep praying I can still afford to do this!).

Not sure I'm 100% sold on Vinz's type you know Chris...a vertically sited vent might also look good as oppose to the Aston's horizontal style ones.

Hmmmm............Had a shufty Chris-not my barro' -thinking more like proper Aston Martin stylee i.e set into the wing with the chrome ''flash across it! ;)

My personal preference would be just to smooth it - perhaps some kind soul would care to do a quick photoshop for you? ;)

Chunk, MickeyB - are you there??

No 3 sounds good, good luck

I smoothed my indicators but im going to put a 5mm clear LED in each wing mirror. as the clear ones arent easily noticed on a silver car.

no side repeaters, no indicators on the mirrors, still passes an m.o.t. see below

Oooeer!-do you know the mot man LOL!-Need Paul to clear this up as I'm sure after a date long ago these where part of the test!

you must be able to see the indicator from the side, thats why I have jap spec indicators on a U.K car ;)

Have a look at the Side Vents and Side light/Indicators on my Z...

I bought them from a supplier in Redline magazine (Can't remember which one) I think they advertise in a ll of the big mags Max Power etc and they are the Mercedes Style/BMW M3 Mirrors they were about £70 (Pair) they even make them in Chrome....All you have to do is heavily modify the Mirror Mounting backplate with loads of Fibreglass/Filler.
