anyone recognise this bouton

not sure what this button does. any ideas.?

 

please don;t say its for the electric aerial - cos then ill look like a fool!.

It's the little reversing Aerial thing that's fitted to Jap imports with a light on top. You can set it to automatically come up if in reverse.

 

Mine doesn't work, but I can hear a relay click once I press it.

 

The same kit is fitted to my mates FTO so I've seen it in operation.

 

Don't forget that the japs are only little (just look at the rear seats!) so they can't see over the bonnet!!!

Yup, parking antenna. Took me bloody ages tracking the wiring before I found out what it did!

 

Anyone got a spare antenna? Mines buggered!

brilliant idea but saw a zed the other day with one and though it spoilt the car (did think WTF has it got two aerials, but now I know!)

 

Fitted something similiar on my car, that works wonderfully..............

 

......it's called the missus (won't work if it's cold though!) biggrin.gif
