I work next to a guy with one of these. He seems happy enough with it so if it's for free, can't go wrong. However, I'm waiting to get my free upgrade and I'm gonna be going for the Motorola V3. Shit battery life but what a phone!

Same here, I'm changing from my Nokia 6100 to the Motorola V3, in two weeks time :D Well smart phone  Only thing is, I've got to change my car system over to Bluetooth, as they don't do a lead for my current car system :(

??

ive got this phone on contract m8, and battery seems fine, no better/worse than any other phone ive used

I have two phones a Motorola V3 (awesome bit of kit) and a Nokia 6230 which is also amazingly good IMHO.

I get about 4 days from both phones with average useage (bout hour calls / 20 texts a day)... the nokia charges from empty to full in 80 minutes, bout 100 for the V3.

i got a 7600 nokia neat querky looking phone, good camera and pc link-up

good deal from CPW works out 500mins any network 100txt for £5 per month...:D

V3 is a crackin' looking phone but it's let down by a tricky/slow user interface, poor camera (compared to others on the market) with no video recording only playback (plus apparently it's been plagued by some niggling problems). Don't buy it if you're after a phone with all the bells and whistles but if you're looking for one to just take care of the basics (and look good ;)), despite it's imperfections, it still stands out a mile from the crowd! Me, I eventually decided to give it a miss and go for the new Samsung D500 which looks good and does EVERYTHING! :D

nokia phones are probably the best from a user interface point of view, but one of my mates has a D500 and thats amazing. i got one of these:

you maybe right re the photos, but i always buy a phone cos its a PHONE,

don't think ive tried to use the v3 as a camera yet, if i find something thats worth rememebering via a photo or video, i use the things i bought for that, i recently bought a sony dvd camcorder so want to get my use from that,

having said that i HATE texts so i deffo only use the phone for one thing, and it aint for sending photos of the sky to the nevilles lol
