Hi Legrath. Those clear lenses make a huge differance to the car, much better than the orange.

I'm tempted to give it a go, is there anything that can go wrong with the DIY approach? I don't want to get half way doing it to find I have broken somthing only to have to buy a new set of lights.

Cheerz.

As they have to be prised apart by heating them in the oven, you could crack the lens while pulling apart or burn the unit if not carefull.

But if you use a low heat and dont try seperating them till the black tar-like glue is soft enough you should have no problems.

thanks guys,

ive just ordered them. and the titanium key :hyper: thought they werent available anymore

does a hairdryer not work?

chris

and is it basically like flourescent tubing covers so I could buy some of this(if it had the same pattern and use specialist DIY equipment to make the perfect shape?

how are they held on the inside mate .?? do you paste them in glue? like a special glue of course

sorry

I used Oven and Hairdryer. They take ages to heat up enough, and quite a struggle to seperate them.

There is a surround for them to sit in and then squezzed in tight when you put it all back together.

cheers for the advice legrath
