They had bought showrrom spec cars from a load of companies, fitted rollcages and decent seats and rallied them. All of the japs were fine, a citroen broke down i think the engine has screwed and was running on 2 cylinders, a 206 blew up, a new MGZR had the boot catch snap on it thus the boot lid was open. the stupid things that make a car, the japs have it all down to a fine art.

And the TVR Tuscan that I was raving about a few days ago? my friend called me on his way back to the UK today, it broke down on the way to the ferry!

400bhp is that all!FOR 150K I would want at least 800.Bet my Z could give it a good run up to 180mph.

Forget the pedestrian Porsche, what about the twin engined Tiger? I saw the prototype of this a year and a half ago and it really shifts. The guy behind it knows his engines. That car is going to destroy the 0-60 world record time

MAC 1 have a go against a 911 turbo and then make that statement again. I havent raced one but my dad had oen and they are fooogin fast.

The one at trax did 4.01 to 60 and it wasent even trying.

4wheel drive of the mark they are very rapid.

I think it has to do with more then 420footpound of torque at somethign like 3000rpm which has us all beat.

There are 2 sequential gear levers (one for each engine), both side by side so you can either pull/push both together to change gear on both engines or just change 1 engine (so 1 engine can be in 3rd gear, and the other in 5th if you like). Alternatively you can just put one in neutral and run on a single engine to save fuel (you can also start the second engine as you are driving and slot it up into 2nd, if you see something a bit fast coming up behind - like an RAF Tornado or something)

I guess on the 4 wheel drive one engine controls the front wheels and 1 the back?? So you could use a lower gear for the rears to put most of the power through them for instance.

I love the way the Tiger was vibrating so much that Vicki Butler-Henderson had a smile on her face the size of a big bendy banana, which incedentally was the shape of my troosers watching her.

The friend of mine who has the TVR had a 911 turbo S before the TVR, it is a very very fast car.

And Top Gear is moving to Channel 5 - it's name is changing to fifth gear as well This is true.....

Porsche is charging too much but you can pick up an older 951 for $8 and get a solid 400hp @ the wheels for an additional $3.500

Well, I never really fancied a porchse, but this one came witha 0-60 of 4 seconds and top speed of 195mph. Now, just think what would happen if you applied the sort of BHP % upgrades to it we've done to the 300s... scary, but I'd do it of course!

 

BTW - My Christmas stock it still empty and yes it will stretch quite a bit
