nice kit, very Dodge Viper-ish

Have to agree with you Mike, that kit really suits it. The only thing I would change would be the alloys...I like 'em, but not in chrome.

TBH, if I'd had a bit more money a couple of years back I might've gone for an RX-7 instead of a Zed as I think they're a crackin' car.

Love the front, love the wheels, HATE the back.

All IMHO of course.

:D

sorry - it's just a bit "too much" for me, i like the styling to be simpler

The RX is a true sportscar not a GT, so it handles. Infact it said to be one of the best handling production cars made! Very quick stock, cos it so light, great handling and great brakes. However if you more than 5 10 forget it. I think Macca would agree with me on that one!LOL

A mate of mine has one (without the additional tupperware) and I think it's fair to say that it's more complicated, more finicky, swills more fuel, has more stuff to go wrong and is arguably less reliable than a Z. However, it does go well and handling is great.

I suspect he'd probably sell it to you if you made him the right offer - it spends most of it's time in the work car park !

i drove one and didnt like it,love the look of them though but fuel cosumption makes the z look like a diesal filled it up after 100miles £40 :headvswal

I love Rx7s but that is feckin stinkin :hurl:

Looks good from the front and side, but dont like the back much, funny I've always hated veilside kits - they ruin nice cars, but that looks great on the whole.

Mine does 17 mpg on average so not that bad compared to the Z.

Mike, the stock sequential twin turbo takes some getting use to, the second turbo doesnt kick in 'till 4500 rpm, then it kicks you in the back! Alot of owners replace them with one big turbo tho it's less troublesome.

The drive is very rigid and great fun, it does what you want, but there's no low down torque so if you dont like revving to the redline all the time then it's prob not for you. A mate took mine out and hated it, called it a rev box, coz he's used to a V8 twin supercharged - loadsa low down torque.

a couple pics , looks nice from the back - stock except for the spoiler.

Me, I think it's great. I wouldn't dare drive it myself because I think I'd just look like an idiot, but if you can carry it off and have deep pockets for the upkeep.... it's fantastic. A really tight piece of work.
