That makes a change, you being upset with something then ! wink.gif

What do the instructions say ? You are the only person who has (blagged) received it so far.

it s fitted correctly no problems there,

yeah i am moaning because its nto doing what its supposed to, i know ill be getting a thousand words from everyone, but i have been asking a long time now if this thing needs cleaning no one seems to be able to tell me, 105 squid is a fair bit of money that can go to getting turbos fixed in the first place.

It ain't magic, it's a cover up. Maybe, just maybe you've hammered your turbos into the ground since removing the cats and thrashing it around Kemble and up and down the drag strip. If the turbos are knackered then they are knackered and that's that. It will help prevent some of the oil getting drawn in, but it is no substitute for new turbos, it just extends the time you can live with seals that are starting to leak.

The only people you can ask about cleaning are Smithy and Johnny (poss. 1 other) because they are the ones who've been unsing it for an while.

Anyway, what's £105 to a man who's just bought new brakes (twice), new intercoolers, new springs, a new front and god knows what else ? biggrin.gif

the point im trying to make is its no better than before, my car was not that bad to start with it did not bother me to much.

now it is exactly the same as before so i could take the kit of and have the same as i had.

what no one seems to be able to answer is if you can clean these things out.

Oh dear!

I can't answer that for you matey as I haven't received anything from anyone in months!!!

At this rate SE are gonna win the award for supplying a service in a reasonable time frame!

and what if Andy's right and your turbo's have let go bigtime? in that case, yes the smoke is the same as it was before *now*, but if you take the filters off it might get a whole hill worse...

Warren,

FFS ask the people who have used it for years.

We haven't got them, we don't know !

well if turbos are gone then the boost im getting cant be to bad and can you imagine 431 rwhp on buggered turbos, im nto sure if im not happy or if sad. lol

i knew this would happen, get back to the point

They worked fine for a few hundred miles, now its back to normal.

I am trying to establish if they need cleaning not if my turbos seals are shot, i knwo that already.

Lets all have a fuckign big go at me then shall we. frown.gif

Oh it's one of those days today is it? LMAO biggrin.gif

Warren, we ain't havin' a go fella!

All we're saying is we can't help you coz none of us have got them let alone fitted for christs sake.

Isn't it just a load of rubber hosing?

If that's the case then I don't see why you can't just dismantle it all and give it a good flush through with something.

When you got it didn't it have the name and number and address of the supplier? Ring them old chap, or Johnny and mail Smithy...oh and if you speak to either of them two ask them where my stuff is?

Cheers mate, you coming over tomorrow or not? wink.gif

Okay, Okay, YES these can be cleaned, it's the Mio filters that do the work they will easily come apart for cleaning, the basic idea though is to A) buy you time by helping to prevent things getting worse to quickly,

B)if you fit the kit just BEFORE you remove the cats, then you should never suffer seal problems, hope this helps.

Timmy, please tell me you got a parcel from me Tuesday last, the missing pipe went today also, Smithy

thank you very much smithy nice one all i need to know thanks m8t

FFS you lot - if you can't answer the fuckin question don't post wink.gif Whats the point in posting a reply to a question if you don't even know the friggin answer??? biggrin.gif

What makes it worse still is the point was made that no 'fucked turbo' replys were helping and that an answer was required, then posts appear to say they didn't know!!! biggrin.gif

If you don't know the answer to a question, then don't post wink.gif I seem to remember certain people whinging a few months ago about threads going off topic.... wink.gif
