I'm thinking of shortening my auto gear stick. Looks really ungainly and there is no need for it to that long! Can I just take a hack saw to it? Has anyone done this before or know of any aftermarket ones??? Will it still work correctlyif its about 3 inches shorter??

Cheers Andrew

as the razo one is near enough the same length, i wouldn't think you can chop it?? i would have thought it would effect the spring loaded part at the top and dont forget the overdrive, if i remember the actual gear stick itself is not that long when removed, its the sleeve etc that makes it sit higher

Cheers for the Razo link!!

Gonna try and remove the handle bit and see what I can do. Thinking of cutting a section of the metal lever out, along with shortening spring part. Can always relocate the O/D button!
