Fog light question

Been doing Jap foglight conversion to reverse lights today, all works wonderfully well BUT the standard 12v 55w red indicator bulb looks a little dim in comparison to the orig fog light (more pink than red!)

- will this pass MOT specifications?

Note: got the red bulbs from Kevin Cooper Motor Factors in end (he has ALL colours)

Cheers Robb

Hi Robb

Mine is the same, looks pinkish more than red but mine passed mot np.

Yes usually put higher wattage bulbs in the inner brake lights. Thats what mine had had done to it when i got it.

Does that mean you don't have a reversing light anymore?

Don't know if you need one legally but must be impossible to park at night...?

...as the car has two reverse lights I have converted the right hand side to a fog light thus still having reverse lights and now gaining fog lights..
