funnily enough I was dicking around with a belkin bluetooth dongle thingie on my laptop this morning, was a complete PITA but got it working eventually....

Ive got all belkin stuff on my wireless network and it works a treat and has a lifetime guarantee so cant be bad

Bought a belkin usb adapter quite a bit back to transfer photos off my motorola v600 .When trying it ,it would transfer photos from my pc to the phone but not the other way round which I bought it for.Just give up in the end!Any advise welcome.

I've got a belkin Bluetooth USB thingy and a Belkin multiple-flash mem reader and both work stonkingly fine.

Funny things can happen with bluetooth, usually through manufacturers not supporting all protocols so that could be the cause of your bluetooth blues. Personally I find Nokia and Motorola don't work with everything, but Sony-Ericsson stuff does.

Have you got other manufacturers stuff working? If you have, maybe you're just unlucky! Or it could be your firewall blocking anything remotely network in appearance?

Hope you get to the bottom of it all!

Mark

Thanks Mark. Funny you should say about motorola because my mates just told me to try transferring photos from another phone as it could be a fault with my phone.

Me too - also bought a bluetooth dongle for downloading pics to my Sony Ericsson. Finally got it working after hours of tearing my hair out, but it's still temperamental.

I'd never buy anything from belkin again !
