went to the petrol station put in gas. on my way home my car cuts out

 

never did that before.. i opened throttle chambers and sprayed some carb cleaner in it started but cut out ,,looks like engine not getting any gas.

 

dontknow what todo , would it be wise to take out the fuel filter

 

and clean it.. getting a new one willtake some time....

 

any sugestions willbe appreciated..muchtks

 

by the way i had to leave my beloved park a mile from home...

could be the PTU, they cut out as the car gets hot, leave it for a while & it starts again.

If it is the PTU may i sugest you relocate it to near the fuze box.

 

If it isnt the PTU might be the fuel pump. mine went south a week after getting it, same hassle

managed to get my car home but still not idling keeps cutting out

 

took off gas filter blew it out a lot of black junk came out. im going to try and get a new one.. any precaution in changing gas filter???

 

or can i just go ahead and put in anew one..tksmuch

put in new gas filter still same ,managed to get PTU off ...

 

connections were a bit corroded cleamed them put it back and

 

im idling ok a bit high buti could live with it//
